If you decide to onboard certain individuals, motivate them by inviting them for a talk over coffee with your senior leaders who can share their love and passion about the company. Helping the new hires create a connection with their colleagues can help them understand more how your business works. Furthermore, think about the other benefits that you can provide, this includes competitive compensation, high level of autonomy, and flexible working arrangements.
  • Develop your in-house talents. Do not forget to take a look at who you already have in the organisation. An easy way to stay ahead of the competition is to upskill your existing talent – which can often be cheaper than bringing new people onboard. Assess your key players’ capabilities and capacities to take on new challenges of being either promoted or transferred to a new department.
